DETAILS
Shape&Shred is a 10 week bootcamp, made up of group fitness work outs, independent work outs, nutrition guidance, support and accountability. All work outs are a mix of strength and conditioning training, and will help you cut body fat, increase strength, and build confidence! We work as a team for 10 weeks, helping each other stay on track, providing encouragement, and forming friendships.
COMMON QUESTIONS
HOW IS SHAPE&SHRED DIFFERENT FROM GROUP FITNESS CLASSES?
Shape&Shred is team oriented. Plain and simple. When you start up a program, or take a class, at a commercial gym, you normally don't form strong friendships with the other participants, hang out outside of the work outs, or chat on a daily basis.In Shape&Shred, we work as a team for the entire 10 weeks. You are committed to the other people in your program, and will be there for them when they need support. In return, you will have 7 other people cheering you on and building your self-esteem in and out of the gym.
WHAT IS THE BREAKDOWN OF THE PROGRAM?
10 weeks. 3 group work outs per week. 1 independent work out per week. Nutrition guidance through calorie counting, macro breakdowns, and beverage tracking. Pre-assessment before the program begins (we record your initial weight, body fat %, and measurements of the waist, hips, thigh, arm). Half-way assessment after week 5 to check in on your progress. End of the program assessment to see how far you've come since the beginning. Team chats using the app GroupMe.
WHAT ARE INDEPENDENT WORK OUTS?
Independents are work outs you will do outside of our group fitness classes. They will help hold you accountable outside of our team sessions. They take anywhere from 35-50 minutes, and typically require a treadmill, free weights, and body weight. Most Shape&Shredders meet up with 1-2 team members and crush these work outs together.
